About Anime Ascendants
Anime Ascendants — formerly known as Special Anime Defense — is a Roblox tower defense game developed by the Anime Ascendants team. Players build squads of anime-inspired units drawn from series including Dragon Ball Z, Hunter x Hunter, Jujutsu Kaisen, Naruto, Bleach, and others, then deploy them across wave-based maps to defend against relentless enemy attacks. Units are collected through Gem-based summons, upgraded with Magic Tokens, and enhanced with Stat Cubes for combat optimisation. The game runs a full Story Mode alongside fast-paced Challenge modes. Update 2 launched in early 2026, bringing new units, balance changes, and the JJK Part 2 content wave. Codes are released during major updates, CCU milestones, seasonal events, and compensation windows following delays or bugs.
🗼 Gameplay
Place anime units across a map to intercept and eliminate waves of enemies before they reach your base. Each unit has a placement cost, attack range, and upgrade path — strategic placement and timely upgrades determine survival. Story Mode progresses through multi-stage campaigns tied to different anime universes. Challenge modes offer faster-paced content with separate reward tracks. The ASCENDANTS26 code requires reaching Level 10 before it can be redeemed.
🎁 Code Drops
The Anime Ascendants team releases codes with every major update — TYFOR2KCCU!, JJKPART2!, and four other new codes arrived with Update 2. CCU milestone codes drop when concurrent player counts hit thresholds (1KCCU! at 1k CCU, Berserk500CCU at 500 CCU). Seasonal codes like RamadanKareem26 and WINTEREVENT! arrive on calendar events. Compensation codes covering delays and bugs are released regularly — BERSERKDELAY, SOLODELAY, and SorryForBugs are confirmed examples. All codes are announced in the official Discord and Roblox group.
What Do Codes Give You?
Gems
The primary summoning currency in Anime Ascendants. Used to pull on unit banners and acquire new characters for your squad. Code rewards range from 1,500 Gems (SorryForBugs) to 10,000 Gems (PITYLAGFIX). Stacking all 42 active codes before your first summon session gives you the maximum possible starting pool of units without spending Robux.
Primary CurrencyMagic Tokens
Used to upgrade and evolve units beyond base level. Magic Tokens are harder to earn through regular gameplay than Gems, making code-sourced tokens especially impactful for early-game progression. TYFOR2KCCU! awards 50 tokens, JJKPART2! and 10KInterested! each award 50 tokens — redeeming all new codes adds over 200 Magic Tokens to your balance immediately.
Upgrade CurrencyStat Cubes & Perfect Stat Cubes
Stat Cubes apply random stat bonuses to units. Perfect Stat Cubes guarantee higher-tier stat rolls. Both are available almost exclusively through codes — WINTERSOON awards 25 Perfect Stat Cubes and 35 regular cubes, ASC! and 10KInterested! each give 10 Perfect Stat Cubes. The ASCENDANTS26 milestone code awards 20 Stat Cubes and 10 Perfect Stat Cubes for players who have reached Level 10.
Unit EnhancementTrait Rerolls, Butterflies & Frozen Coins
Trait Rerolls randomise a unit's trait, which affects its special ability modifier. RamadanKareem26 and SorryForBugs each award 25 Trait Rerolls. Butterflies are a soft currency for cosmetic purchases — WINTERLEAVING awards 25k Butterflies. Frozen Coins are a seasonal currency — WINTERSOON awards 10k and ASCENDANTS26 awards 5k. All three are difficult to farm through normal play, making code redemption the primary source for most players.

Why Some Codes Don't Work
ASCENDANTS26 Returns Error Below Level 10
ASCENDANTS26 requires reaching Level 10 before it will process — entering it on a new or low-level account returns an error that looks identical to an expired code response. The code itself is not expired. Progress through the early Story Mode stages to hit Level 10, then re-enter ASCENDANTS26 to claim its 100 Rerolls, 5k Gems, and Stat Cube rewards.
Case-Sensitive Typo or Missing Special Character
Anime Ascendants codes are fully case-sensitive and many include special characters — TYFOR2KCCU!, JJKPART2!, ASC!, and ByeByeExploiters! all end with an exclamation mark that is part of the code. Missing the exclamation mark causes redemption to fail silently. Copy and paste directly from BLOXBURST to include every character exactly as shown.
Already Redeemed
Each Anime Ascendants code is one-time use per account. With 42 active codes currently available, it is easy to lose track of which ones have been entered — the game returns the same response for already-redeemed codes and expired ones. If a familiar code returns an error, check your Gem balance and Token inventory to confirm whether the reward arrived at a previous redemption.
Server Not Updated After New Code Drop
Anime Ascendants does not restart servers when new codes are released. A fresh code entered on an older server may fail even though the code is valid. Close the game completely and rejoin to land on a server running the current build. If the code still fails after rejoining, try creating a private server — confirmed working in multiple tracker notes for this specific game.
Code Not Found at Codes NPC
The code input in Anime Ascendants is accessed by approaching the Codes NPC near the spawn area — not through any menu button or settings screen. Walking into the blue circle surrounding the NPC opens the redemption pop-up. If the circle is not visible, look for the NPC character standing near the spawn platform on the main lobby map.
Codes Button Also Available at Bottom-Right
In addition to the Codes NPC near spawn, Anime Ascendants also has a Codes button at the bottom-right corner of the screen that opens the same redemption panel. If you cannot locate the NPC on the map, use the bottom-right button instead — both methods access the same code entry field and produce the same result.
Beginner Tips for Anime Ascendants
With 42 simultaneously active codes available as of March 6, 2026, claiming every code before spending any Gems gives you the maximum possible starting Gem balance for your first summon wave. Redeeming codes after already spending Gems means fewer total pulls from the accumulated reward pool.
ASCENDANTS26 is locked behind a Level 10 requirement and awards 100 Rerolls, 20 Stat Cubes, 10 Perfect Stat Cubes, 5k Gems, and 5k Frozen Coins — one of the highest-value single codes in the active list. Prioritising early Story Mode stages to hit Level 10 quickly ensures you can claim this reward before the code eventually expires.
Magic Tokens are the limiting resource for unit upgrades — Gems are easier to accumulate than tokens through regular gameplay. Concentrating all code-earned tokens on your two or three strongest units rather than spreading them thin across a wider squad produces noticeably better combat performance in both Story Mode and Challenge maps.
Perfect Stat Cubes guarantee high-tier stat rolls but are most effective on units that have already been fully leveled and upgraded — applying a Perfect Cube to an under-leveled unit wastes the guaranteed roll on a character whose base numbers are not yet at their ceiling. Upgrade the unit to max with Magic Tokens first, then apply Perfect Stat Cubes from code rewards.
Trait Rerolls from codes like RamadanKareem26 and SorryForBugs randomise a unit's trait modifier. Since traits are RNG-based, spending rerolls on lower-tier units is inefficient — saving all code-earned rerolls for your confirmed top-tier units (Hosoka, Shonks, Nobara, Evolved Gen, or Kollua per the official tier list) maximises the combat return from each roll.
Anime Ascendants releases CCU milestone codes when concurrent player counts hit specific thresholds — 1KCCU! at 1,000 CCU and Berserk500CCU at 500 CCU are confirmed examples. Major update launches and seasonal events drive player spikes that frequently trigger new CCU milestones within hours. Checking BLOXBURST and the Discord codes channel on the same day as any major update announcement is the most reliable way to catch milestone codes before they cycle out.
